2017 Forester 3051S Engine Light

We purchased a 2017 Forester 3051S in January. The walk through was too quick in my opinion and ended abruptly when I asked why the engine light stayed on. The dealer sent it to a Ford shop and they found too many codes to list. Inspection revealed that Forest River rerouted a wiring harness incorrectly and it was lying on the exhaust pipe. This affected the MAF (mass air flow) sensor, the HEGO ( heated exhaust gas oxygen) sensor and the canister purge circuit. They repaired, rerouted the harness and replaced fuses and a circuit breaker at a cost to the dealer of $400. I'm very glad this didn't happen to me on the drive home and wanted to caution others in case this wasn't an isolated incident.

What's gong on at Forest River? This floor plan has been around for years and now we're seeing issues with the newer year production?
