22" furrion TV

We have a Forester 3051s with a Furrion 22" TV in the bedroom. The sound doesn't work with it on the house batteries, but works fine with the generator on. It is plugged into the 12v outlet.
can't seem to figure it out.

Doesn't make any sense why the input power source either DC or AC should have any influence on the sound. I have a RCA TV/DVD that had very poor sound levels even when turned up and I ended up going to BB and getting an inexpensive sound bar which worked nicely.

you would think that the power would have nothing to do with it. I am in the electronics business, so I do have some know how, but what they do now days who knows. thanks

The only thing the generator (or shore power) would do for a 12 volt tv is provide 12 volt power via the converter. It may be a battery issue.

When you have the generator on and can hear the TV sound, is the TV sound coming from the speakers that are built in to the TV? I'm thinking your TV speakers may be off and you are hearing TV sound from a 120V device that is active when the generator is running.

No there isn't any other speakers in the bedroom area. It has worked before, but once you have the gen on and use the TV, then shut it off no sound. The guy from Furrion wants me to check the voltage at the TV with and without the gen on, plus check the batteries voltage with the gen on and off. I can get sound no picture or the other way around. Makes no sense how these people design things today.

How do you have the sound bar set up in the bedroom? Where is it placed? I want to do something too but I am not sure what...

Yes I would like to know also. By the way they sent me a new TV 19", they don't make the 22" anymore. It works so far.
