2251LE vs 2250LE ?????????

We are looking at a 2251 LE on Saturday with the intent to purchase at a local dealer. CAn't seem to get a good definiton of the difference between the SunSeeker and the Forester fromthe reps. Of course they wish to sell what they have and they don't really dump on eachother since both are from the same family. So can someone explain the differences in features and quality or operation items. We are going to buy ne with the GM chassis since we have a Lexington withthe 6.0 Vortec and are happy with it's performance.
Also, we are removing the dinette and will have them install a jack knife couch to save about 12 inches of space inthemain living area. We are used to using large TV trays so that is the plan for the coach. Intend to have them do the entertainment center also. It is just the two of us so we feel it will be comfortable for us for many years.
Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Forester 2251LE - LE Ford Chassis floor plan and the Sunseeker 2250LE - LE Ford Chassis floorplan back to back...

Anyone see a difference? Even the cabinet handles seem the same in the pictures. This is common in FR products. Viking/Coachmen, Flagstaff/Rockwood, and apparently Forester/Sunseeker.

Colors and Fabrics seem to be the only difference.

There are differences. Not in layout but amenities. I can't remember the complete current list but its been posted on this and / or the Sunseeker forum. Reco would be to look at post titles for a couple pages on each forum and you'll see it - or search on words like "difference", "differences", or "vs".

Maybe some decor selection differences. I did notice the (GVWR) on the Chevy is 14,200 lbs vs the Ford E350 is 12,500 lbs.

There are no differences on the 2250/2251 model.

The Forester has some upgraded amenities over the Sunseeker, except on that floor plan. That is an LE (Limited Edition) that was originally designed as a price leader type unit. We did not want to offer it to only Sunseeker dealers, so we made the Forester version the same. They have their own brochure/flyer that is separate from the 8 page Sunseeker or Forester brochure. That is why you do not see the floor plan in the 8 page brochure.

bclemens - We are going to be in a 2010 Coachmen 31 Class C next week. Any tricks or tips that would help? We are popup campers and have no experience with full hook-ups.
Why doesn't FR offer a diesel Class C? It seems like it would be a great option.

1. Coachmen is a separate division. So I'm no help there. But any general RV stuff on this site would apply.
2. Ford does not offer diesel in Class C's anymore. We used to offer it when they did. 5,000 people would ask about it. One would buy. For as little driving as you actually do, the diesel was not worth the up charge. That gas motor is a horse.
