2861DS Grill

Hello,

We recently purchased a 2861DS which came with a grill that we had to assemble. I've just completed assembly, and the manual references that the grill bracket can connect to the outside of the RV. This doesn't seem to be the case with our model RV, but wanted to check with the forum.

Does anyone have a picture they can post of their motorhome with grill connected?

Thanks in advance!

I didn't use my grill bracket but mine was a generic mount. RV model did not matter. Maybe your saying you don't know where to mount it?

Apparently some mode RV's have tabs on the exterior for mounting the grill bracket. I don't see these on my 2861.

I just wanted to see if I'm missing something. Perhaps 2861 owners just use their grills on top of a picnic table?

On my included bracket the directions basically said pick a suitable spot on rv and screw it in. . There is a bar that stays attached to rv and the assembly that holds the BBQ lifts off and on

Mine mounts to the rear bumper. Not an ideal spot as it is too low. The BBQ should have also come with a fold-able metal table that the grill can sit on which is much better. Mine is not mounted but could mount temporarily if you want a picture. Its pretty clear how it mounts once you know where to mount it.

A picture would be great. I'm not sure how it attaches to the rear bumper.

Here is what I have. I could not find the mounting hardware to actually mount it so it is zip tied on to show you how it mounts to the rear bumper. I also attached a picture of the table the BBQ could sit on which is much better.
Hope this helps. If I come across the mounting hardware will mount and take another picture with the BBQ in place.

A painters stand would be good for something like that and they are inexpensive.
I ordered mine with a grill because I have not been happy with what I have. I hope I like it...if not I guess I will have to bust the tick and get a Q.

racer, we found an unused swing arm mount in the classified section of the FR forum and went and picked it up. Then bolted the aussie grill that came with ours.
