I have found the kitchen faucet sprayer to function better than the long neck we had in our Flagstaff. The sprayer doesn't stay on when you turn off the water

Some say it keeps you from getting scalded. Others say to prevent a blast of cold. Mine gets colder while dribbling. Just an annoyance to me. The outside shower shutoff doesn't dribble. Why not? I guess I need to go to the home improvement store and get the real thing.
