3050/3051S Rattle driving me crazy

OK..all you 3050S/3051S owners. Has anyone else experienced a loud rattle right behind your head when driving on even a slightly bumpy road? It seems to be in the area where the slide-out has the geared tracks. When the slide is out they seem to be tight, but when the slide is in and driving something in that area sounds like it is rattling and coming apart. I haven't had the dealer check it out yet, but I'm thinking someone else may have had this problem. Anyone? and if so what did you do about it?
Thanks

Yup!!!!! same area , same noise. Get a can of slide lube spray and lube the crap out of the inner and outer seals, helps but doesn't make it go away totally . Dealer told me its the slide moving in the opening and the seals rubbing on the slide wall.

Found the answer!

Well, I tried lubing the slide seals...didn't seem to help much. This was a definite clattering rattle, not a rubber to metal squeak. Anyway, after putting the slide in, I tried to see if the geared tracks, upper and lower, would move or wiggle and sure enough they did. They seem to be attached at both ends by a pin that allows a little movement. Probably so they will flex and adjust slightly when the slide is moving in and out. I jammed a wadded up paper towel under each track to prevent them vibrating while driving.....and guess what...95% silence! What I plan to do when we get home is fashion some rubber wedges that I can insert behind each track while the slide is in. They don't have to be real tight..just enough to keep the tracks from vibrating.
Hope this helps anyone else with the 3051S clatter noise.

We had similar rattle on our 2013 3051S. Sound seemed to be right at driver ear level. Dealer determined that something in the slide topper mechanism was loose. Whatever they did fixed the issue. Get an occasional squeak on some rough roads now, but much better.
