Speed makes a big difference. 5 miles per hour changes it about 1 mile per gallon. That's not a big number but it is a big percentage.

2014 3051S towing Ford Transit Connect on dolly; just a little over 8 mpg. That is running highways in western Pa. Eastern Ohio. Keep speed 60-65 mph

Your gas is cheaper, too. Oops, the price is per liter. Sorry.

$3.15 per gallon here in South Carolina.

jfrauts. We really do appreciate you sending all your oil down here to keep our prices low.

However we don't appreciate your health care trying to be shipped down here. So we'll call it even

The MPG is the only disappointment with my 3051. It seems the best I can get is 8 MPG. I have a little over 5000 miles on it now and don't tow.

You might get 8 to 10 mpg as the engine gets broke in the best i have done with my 3170 was 9.5 and that was a 3.5 hr trip going an average of 60 mph with no wind. 11 to 14 mpg sounds like salesman talk

F1100turbo, I guess I was hoping for 10. Two more MPG's would make a big difference.

Don't get your hopes up. We saw little improvement as the miles built up. Any thing above 8.5 mpg is good for us. We tow a Pathfinder but drive 55 to 60 mph.
