I think the 3051 has more total space inside and it does offer more outside room 18' awning we spend a lot of time outside swivel seats will turn but more trouble than it's worth

The jacknife sofa is hinged along the width of the seat and seatback, and folds flat. It's approximately 68 inches wide by 48 inches deep. It's good for children or short adults.

The sleeper sofa (AKA foldout or visionary) is double hinged (I think) and folds outward from the sofa. It is approximately 66 inches wide and 72 inches deep. An average height adult should fit on it just fine. Tall people are at a disadvantage with either design.
