Yes, it is the auto leveler control. If you order a new unit it should be mounted on the panel as you come in the door.

Unless the newer models have changed the Big Foot Leveling system control box is stored under the seat. It has a cable to it so you can stand outside while you operate the jacks. It has a full automatic mode but I have found manual mode works better sometimes especially if the campsite is more than a little off level. I have seen some other manufacturers who mount the control box in the step well but IMO that is a very poor design if you ever want to use the manual mode. You need to be able to see the operation of the jacks to properly and safely manipulate the jacks in manual.

Here is a picture of the new location. Picture is not too good but it is located just under the counter extension. I think most people wanted it here as it is a cleaner look and hopefully you can stand outside to operate. I will find out in about 4 weeks.

I saw a new unit on the lot this week and they've also modernized the faceplate. I like the new location but I'm hoping it has some kind of lock-out function to protect the control panel from little fingers.

There is a "Power Button". So no LED lights unless the power button is ON. Then you can push the other buttons.

Otherwise, a small snap on cover would work if you're really worried about the little ones.

Can you power off with the jacks down?
