3171 & 3170 clearance in the back

Question, what it your clearance to the ground on those to angle scraping protectors in the rear of your coach. Mine is 10 1/2 inches to the ground. I have 80 psi in air shocks, 80 psi in rear tires and 70 psi in front tires. Just curious if I still have to much weight in the back. Thx, Ben

benagi,

I will let you know what my 3171ds height is when I can get it to an area that I can measure it better right now we are camping.

In my 3011, I am at 13-1/4 and 13-1/2 sitting on level crushed concrete with jacks up 70# in air bags 80# rear tires and 75# front and 1/3 tank of water, checked a month ago so the bags might be closer to 60#

I would like to have that clearance in the back. That would solve all my scraping problems.

I noticed this weekend all the other class c's had 3-5 inches more clearance than my 3171 with the airbags filled up all the way. There seem to be some serious suspension issues with my rv at least.

Thx Moto for checking. That is exactly where mine is loaded and full of fuel and water. Guess we will have to live with it and careful when we go in and out of areas.

One other thing I did notice. The clearance I have on the right is a couple of inches highers than I have on the passenger\bunk side. It doesn't matter how much air I put in the the suspension it is lower on the passenger side. Does this happen to you as well?
