Side Cameras versus Rear Camera

Siskom wrote: "Don't waste the money on the side cameras."

I totally disagree. I use the side cameras more than the back camera as I am traveling down the highway for 3 to 5 hours. It useful for changing lanes and more than any mirror can provide on clearance of other cars/vehicles. The back camera is certainly useful for backing into a camping spot,as is the side cameras for spotting clearance on tree's and other obstacles. But if I were to add up the time using the side cameras versus the back camera, it wouldn't even come close. Side camera(s) would win. Bottomline - you get what you pay for. I am glad I made the choice for side cameras.

Agree with you Side Cameras are will worth the time and money, try driving thru Washington, DC sometime and you will learn to love them. Have 10 mm on sides and 12 mm on rear of CC 36 CKTS.
