Any 2801QS owners?

I would love to hear your experiences, likes and dislikes. I m a new owner of a. 2015. I bought the only one I saw at the dealer. I like the design much better than the standard class C's. A few issues in the beginning - leaky faucet (fixed myself), inside storage separating from body in multiple places (fixed under warranty), a few slide seals were replaced. Now waiting on warranty approval to repair a small body defect - have been waiting since July.I guess waiting politely doesn't work. Got to be a bit of a PIA, to get action. Couch and dinette seats are quite firm (sore rear end after two weeks). I assume these will soften over time. Also, noticed water does not stay in the toilet in cooler weather. Tried silicone spray to no avail.

Overall, am very satisfied with the coach. it has plenty of room, rides and handles well with plenty of power. Thank God I have not experienced any of the nightmarish issues I have read about with many MH's. Can't wait until spring.

How has yours been?

We just got ours last month and have only done a weekend shakedown with it. I think I've figured out how everything works and we're pretty excited for next year. I broke a drawer latch but I replaced it myself and got a spare. I can hardly see the nav screen when driving and picked up a Garmin RV, way better.
Definitely going to need a footstool for the couch Had an issue with the added solar controller wired wrong but it's fixed now. It's our first motor home so I might not be looking close enough but no real issues so far.

I would also love to hear people's input and opinions as we plan to take the plunge and purchase a 2801 soon.

2801 is a good choice. I have to get a foot stool for my wife, although the she is not into the MH thing and may only be in it once a year. I was lounging in it this evening in the driveway. Spring is only 4.5 months away.

Update on toilet. Soaked it in silicone lubricant, then let the lever slam a few times rather than close lightly. Antifreeze staying in much better now. Unfortunately, when I read the ingredients, even thought it is called silicone lubricant, it has acetone and petroleum distillates. Arrrrghh! Hope it does ruin anything before spring when I can dump and rinse.

Enjoy the coach, Brian. Hope it will give us trouble free service for the next decade or two.

Congratulations! I feel your pain we only got to use it a couple days before putting it to bed. But at least I can go visit in storage
When is your expected delivery?

Silicone yes but petroleum based no.

I know. Why they call it Silicone lubricant and add the other stuff is beyond me. Seems to be holding now. Hope no damage occurs over the winter. I will dump and use more appropriate stuff in the spring. I have to check. I may have some of this stuff, although I thought it was for the dump valve, not to improve the seal in the toilet itself.
