arctic pac????

I just purchased a 07 sunseeker 2860ds and there is a switch on the panel to turn on "arctic pac". I asked the man I bought it from what it was and he had no idea. Can someone please tell me what this is and when do I use it?

The Arctic Pac is your tank heaters for cold weather camping. They are usually thermistatically controlled and won't actually heat unless the temps drop below a set point which I believe to be around 40 degrees.

For more information on them do a "search" at the top of the page for "Arctic Pac"

They usually have the pads on the drain fittings near the valves as well so they don't freeze and crack.

just be careful. Arctic pak can be nice but it does drain 12 volt power.
can easily empty battery.

2010 and newer sunseekers have enclosed storage tanks.

older ones do not. consequently cold affects these older tanks worse than newer models..
