Artic pac switch light not turning on

Went to use my Artic Pac for the first time last night. The control panel switch does not light up. I'm outside of Phoenix and temps into the 30's at night. Furnace is working fine so probably not much utility in the Artic Pac, but i'd like it to work.

Reading other posts, apparently the heater doesn't come on until tank contents are 40 degrees or below, but i would expect the switch to be lit even if the Artic Pac was heating. Am i wrong about that?

Anybody have this issue before?

Thanks for your response.

All my lights come on no matter which of the three tank heater switches I switch on. I am entirely unconvinced the heaters work at all. I have my underbelly off right now and am in the process of figuring out what's working and what isn't. It is highly unlikely they are checked at the factory due to the fact it is too warm for them actually see if they work. I know this doesn't help you now but gives you reasons to believe things aren't as they should be.
