Backup camera

I have an aftermarket wireless unit to install.
What is the best 12 volt source to grab off the upper rear of the unit?

I used a Garmin bc 30 with my gps and tapped into the position light circuit at the upper rear inside. Must have parking lights or headlights on, but feel safer with them on anyway. Currently driving an freelander with cabinets in upper rear of the coach.

That was my dilemma- I could easily tap into the center clearance light but I would then need at least parking lights on.
May make for a better setup anyway since I can just turn off the light switch easily when I want to switch the camera off.
I was also thinking rear bath fan (rt rear corner).
But then I would have to drill a hole in the roof.

I used the center marker light. Like you say I need the parking / running lights on but I haven't found this to be a problem.

It won't do MACH 2, but I can get a sandwich and take a pee.

That is probably what I will do.
Easy to switch them on/off at any time and I know when they will be on- when the camera is on.
Thanks for the replies.
