Same here, I don't think it's all the way up but close if I want to use the microphone function to hear the DW.

Backup camera power question

The way it works is hard wired, but adjustable at the hardware level. There do not appear to be any "menu" controls for this. Click image for larger version

I do have sound!

I do have sound! I went to the menu and toggled the sound all the way up..Then had the DW in the rear and I put in reverse. No not directly behind it! Had her talk and it works, not loud.

Sage...did you say you have a switch that can turn down the volume on the DW?

Ha Ha Jim! Sorry, only when the rear camera is in use while in reverse.

When I'm in reverse I can touch the screen menu and change the microphone volume. I suspect I could do the same with the remote but haven't tried.
