Battery Control Center Noise
I have a 7 week old 3051S MH and have started hearing a loud "click" noise from the Battery Control Center (near entry steps). The click noise occurs at approx. 30 - 60 sec intervals and seems to be when MH is connected to 110v power. There are several relays inside, but no circuit schematic or anything to indicate what they control. The noise seems to come from either the K3 or K4 relays. I contacted the supplier, Wurth Elektronik, but they say that they have no info on how their device is used in the vehicle. Either Ford or FR are responsible for how the device is wired and installed. I replaced the BIM relay from the recall package I received from FR, but the noise still occurs. My wife thinks the noise is no better, but I think it might be a little better. Does anyone have any similar experience or relevant info? A schematic diagram also would be helpful.

FR replaced my battery isolator relay behind that panel by the steps. Mine was just humming and buzzing though. Since they replaced it, no noise. It does click whenever you open the cab doors and lights come on, or when activating the e-start button, but that's normal. I just now saw the recall, but don't think ours fits the date range.

Btw, I have the diagram for that panel, but it is very vague and of little help. Ill have to find it though.

BigJohn,
That would be great if you can find it. Even some vague schematic info is better than nothing! I haven't heard any humming, just a disturbingly loud clicking noise about every minute or so.
Thanks

Alright, here's what I have. Even mine isn't 100% wired like this, but about 99%. It kind of gave me a better idea of what's what. Not sure if this is the type of panel you have, but in my 2013, this is what's there by the stairs.

Thanks for posting. That's exactly the type of schematic that I would like to see. Unfortunately, ours is from a different supplier, Wurth Elektonik.

Shoot Brian (bclemens) a pm. That's where I got that one from. He should be able to find you one for your model. With my luck, mines a recall one. I'll have to check now. Obviously FR swapped suppliers in the last year.

Out of the office, but I'll see what I can track down on Monday.
