Battery not holding charge

New batteries lost charge after one month in storage. Cut off switch in off position. Any idea how to locate the draw?

No doubt you have a lot of parasitic draw on them. You should just unhook the ground strap on the batteries to prevent the draw.

Thanks Old Coot, That is exactly what I did; but I would like to know what is causing the draw. with the switch off there is no power to the lights or appliances but the power awning works.

This isn't a helpful response to your original inquiry- but the power awning working isn't uncommon. The thinking is that they don't draw power while they're just sitting there (only when you run it in or out).

Are you "detectors" (LP, CO, etc.) still on when you cut the power switch?

Just an FYI, as I had the same problem with my new Georgetown. The batteries were bad from the factory but waited too long for warranty replacement. I would have then checked now while they are new.

Your battery is toast. Replace and forget.
