First and foremost, I love my Forester! It's so much nicer and better built than my previous motorhome that there's no comparison. I do have one issue though and it's something that someone in your design department didn't really think through when they came up with the layout for the Forester 2301 and Sunseeker 2300. That being the placement of the combination 12v/cable TV plug in the rear bedroom. As the photo shows, and I'm sure you're aware, the 12v plug for the rear TV and the TV coax are extremely close to the top of the mattress.
What I would like to do is move the 12v/coax plate further up the wall, like behind or above the TV. I would like to find out from one of you if there's anything behind that wall at the level of the TV that I need to be worried about if I cut a new mounting hole for the plate? Are the wires for the 12v feed and the TV coax attached to any of the framing behind that wall? I'm hoping not so that all I have to do is pull the wires up, remount the plate and put a blank plate over the existing location. Is there any way possible to get a photo of that wall before it's covered so I could see how the wires are routed and attached? I wasn't sure if they came up from the bottom or down from the top to reach the existing plate.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. And maybe a suggestion to the design people to think about that location for the 12v/TV coax plate!
