Big problem with slide!

Our slide for U shaped dinette on or Forester 2501 worked fine for the first 2 trips but I noticed that while the wall on the drivers side had a 3 in space from top to bottom, it was closer at the top than the bottom on the pantry side.

We put the slide out this time and the molding at the top dragged against the side of the pantry and cracked at the top.

From the outside the slide is 19 in out at the bottom and only 17.5 in at the top but it is fully extended

To get it back i without further damage we had to unlevel the unit so the front was lower 2 in.

Any thoughts?

Does that have the slide tracks on the "exterior slide end walls" or is the slide mechanism below the floor? (You'll see rams on the bottom of the slide). If its a below floor I'm guessing an adjustment nut is loose and let the slide sag.

Slide on 2401S

When I bought my MBS 2401S in January I noticed that the slide was flush on the top and about 2" out on the bottom when closed. I had the dealer fix it before delivery. What they did was not revealed to me, but was aligned when I took delivery. No problems since, though I got some slide lube spray as it groans and sqeeked a bit, but that seems to minimize the noise.

I just noticed the same type of problem on my 2015 2501. The top molding cap hit the side of the pantry a broke the cap off. This u shape dinet slide has the slide mechanism below the floor on two tracks. Did you get this alignment fixed, how long did it take, do you know what was involved? Thanks,

The bolts that held the track on the side that got damaged were loose. It was same day service at Camping World. Forget how many hours it was in the shop but we waited for it
Didn't have them fix he wood. Wood glue clamps and touch up pens
