We have had the plate,bar to tow our Tacoma installed. We now need a brake controller,what do you all recommend? We are gonna have another 10,000 just to get thing ready. Costly adventure to say the least!!
If you search on other threads for "brake Controller" almost everyone recommends the Tekonsha Prodigy

I agree! If you spend any time on this forum (and others), you'll learn that "Search is your friend". Most general and a high percentage of specific questions have already been asked and answered and a search saves time and typing.
I could be wrong but I think he is talking about a braking system for 4 down towing of a Tacoma. I tow on a dolly with surge brakes. If I were to tow 4 down I would get the tow bar that uses a cable system to connect to the toads brake pedal and acts like a surge brake system.

You're probably right. I wasn't familiar with the terminology --> I've never towed a vehicle. I still recommend Search.
Ah...I read "brake controller". Glossed over the whole tacoma part.
