Bypass

I recently purchased a 2015 Forester 3011ds and I'm sure where the water heater bypass valve is and how do I operate water heater on electric mode. Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated....

If it A suburban wh, outside under the cover in the lower left hand corner is a black rocker switch to turn on the elec side. Its behind the gas plumbing.

On my 2018 Forester 3011DS, the bypass is located behind a panel at the floor height below the stove. 4 screws to remove, and then you can see the bypass valves.
As for the electric water heater switch, mine is on the tablet style pad.

Good luck
