VWexpert, yes CW has this one. Stay Longer Propane Adapter Kit - Husky MER472 - Propane Hoses and Adapters - Camping World
I think we are all having problems with the spell check having a mind of it's own. I end up editing my post 2 or 3 times.

Getting back on topic, KJcachers you may want to look back in the Forester topics for the one about the Jensen Nav radio FREE map update issues that we have encountered. If yours has 2012 maps, you can update them for free within 30 days of your motorhome purchase to first quarter 2015 maps. You can go to Naviextras.com register and try to update. They may say it's beyond 30 day activation limit as the driver may have activated it delivering your MH to the dealer. Click on tech support or customer service and explain you just bought it. They asked for proof of purchase and then allowed me to update for free. Also, you will have to pull the microSD card from the upper right corner of the radio to register. The new maps will not fit on the card it came with. I used an 8GB microSD card that I had. Good luck!

Sage are you sure you don't have a gas leak that's a lot of gas unless you are running furnace or hot water for extended periods of time

I can verify the small propane tank. We went camping last Wed and came home Friday. We're in South Texas but had a cold spell. It was 29 at night and 60 during the afternoon. When we left there was 2/3rds of a tank showing on the level indicator. We ran only the heater, no heat pump and had it set at 68 during the day and 65 during the night. When we returned the tank level was at 1/3rd. We do use the propane for the HWH.

Living here we loath running the A/C 9-months of the year. So using the heat pump isn't something we want to do.

Our last travel trailer was an Arctic Fox with two 30-lb propane tanks. We could run the heater for two weeks in snowy conditions without running out of propane.

the LP gauge is way unreliable, how many gals are you getting when you fill up? I've been on empty on the panel and gauge and only needed two gals to fill tank....

Brochure says 9.8 gallons yet dealers say it's 12.2 stamped on the tank. Either way, I'm buying the adapter to add a 20 gallon external tank.

Here is a video on installing the propane adapter. It's on my xmas list We opted to by a Weber Q instead of the inferior grill that FR sells.

Amazon has it for $63.64 with free 2 day shipping if you are a Prime member:

Thanks GL1800Rider for the YouTube video, that's exactly what I need. Going to get one before my Quartzsite trip next month.

KJ, we have a 2014 3051s and absolutely love it. We have had it 2 years now and have put 30k miles on it. We have had no issues with it at all. Everything has worked great. I think it is the best floor plan of any Forester/Sunseekers. My wife loves the kitchen layout and counter space and she cooks a lot when we travel. You asked for tips. First, never leave the RV out of level for very long if you are running the fridge. It does not like unlevel camping. The other tip is that you will have to watch your weight. You will weight out before you cube out as there is a lot of storage space in the unit. You only have about 1600 lbs. to play with. I never drive with full tanks. I manage gas, water, grey and black tanks to maximize my overall cargo carrying capacity. Congratulations on your purchase.

isn't 9.8 gallons of propane equivalent to about 40lbs of propane. that seems like a decent amount of propane? Also i remember reading 9.8 is what the tank holds which 80 percent of the 12.2 stamped on tank

9.8 gals is about 40 lbs or the equivalent of the 2 20 lbers I had on my trailer that I have never, ever run dry. No need to worry!

I know you said you pack light, but remember that 1600 lbs limit DOESN'T include , people, water, food etc. In my case we have five adults and a Lab dog that travel , thats about 930 lbs right there!!!! even before you have packed anything else in.

It adds up fast. Full tank of gas-330 lbs. Full fresh water tank-370 lbs. Full grey and black tank-320 lbs. each. Though you would never travel with everything full, I do manage my tanks closely to maximize available cargo weight. I like a full 4 door refrig/freezer. Ha! My wife cooks a lot before we travel.

We cannot get our video output for Concertone DVD to transmit to tv. DVD will not work on TV. We have sound, but no video.
2007 Flagstaff. We do not have an instruction book for the Concertone or a remote and cannot find a telephone number to call for assistance. We cannot see the Concertone model #.
We are preparing for our first trip in it and getting a bit frustrated.

Pull the unit out...find the video output wire and make sure its plugged in the player. Also ck the input into the tv - could be a loose or disconnected cable

West Shore, you are a little out of lane. This is a forester motorhome forum. You need to comment in the flagstaff travel trailer forum. You likely won't get answers to your video problem here.
