KJ, I saw your question about the water heater bypass on the other forum. Yes, it is under the fridge and all you need to do is remove the 6 screws. I keep a small rechargeable screwdriver in the motor home with the correct bit and can pop the panel and switch the valves pretty fast. I also marked the back of the panel which side went up so I would always be hitting the same drill holes. There are 3 valves that you turn in order to bypass the water heater. One is not easily visible. Turn all 3 the opposite of the way they are now and you will have bypassed the water heater. Now just make sure your water heater electric switch is flipped to off. I also flip the breaker for the W/H off in the electrical panel by the steps as an additional safety measure.

One other valve is behind that panel also, its the shut off valve for the ice maker, its the little white push/pull valve. If its turned off the ice maker will not work.

Wow, I have never seen the ice maker cutoff and didn't know it was there. I have always just slid up the arm within the freezer to cut off the ice maker. I will definitely look for it the next time I go to my unit in storage. Thanks. After 2 years I'm still learning stuff.

Hey Rocket , you use the breaker to turn your electric portion of the water heater on/off ? I have just used the switch at the tank .

I use both the breaker and the switch at the tank. It is like a double safety measure for me to ensure I don't turn on the heater without water in it, since I have gotten a little senile. Ha! The breaker for the water heater is the only one I have ever flipped on and off in the breaker box.

Found it but how do you winterize the ice maker? Looks like they ran the ice maker with antifreeze in the lines but how do you then clean it in the spring? Click image for larger version

And this looks proper for the bypass valves to me. Tank drain is open so it must be right. We pressurized the system with the water pump during the PDI and the pump shutoff so I'm assuming no leaks. They must have dumped antifreeze into the fresh tank for winterizing instead of pumping direct from the jugs.Click image for larger version

I know that everyone thinks their RV is the best, but the 3051S is far and away the best floor plan available in this size and price range.
Agree wholeheartedly!!!

Rims

Has anyone replaced factory rims on their Forester/Sunseeker with customized chrome rims? They weren't offered as an option when we ordered ours; however, the Lexington had the option.

I just installed these; They are not chrome but look just like chrome with no rusting, peeling, or polishing. The finish is applied like powder coating. AEX 189 Dually - it is a PVD finish.

They were $185.00 per rim (x 4) plus M & B and the special Dually air valves. Hubs and rear inner rims had to be painted black.

Beautiful! You kept original inner rim then. Does it keep the brakes cooler?
