I agree, looks like the cover for the Bigfoot control box. Guess I'll be checking mine too...

I checked under my RV today and it is the shroud that fits over the Bigfoot pump. I Guess I was luck it fell off when it did. There are no screws or other ways to attach it to the pump housing. It looks like it was only held in place by friction. If it did have zip ties holding it in place then they came off. My guess is that they forgot to attach it. I'm heading to Home Depot for some 36" ties.

As was posted earlier it is suppose to be screwed in place, should be two sheet metal screws to attach it.

I'll check again but there are no screw holes in the shroud and I didn't see any in the metal bracket it attached to.

If there are no screw holes it must have been missed being attached on the assembly line, thats why it fell off. check the others and see if they are attached.

Keithe, I was going through the forum & saw your post with pic. Looking at the pic, I was drawn to the tire and it appears to be under-inflated. I'm no expert, and it could be the angle of the pic, but have you checked the pressure?

Not making a judgement call here but my last MH had Big Foot levelers and all four of the strut enclosures had the shrouds secured with zip ties. 10 years and over 80 thousand miles later they were still in place when traded in. Go figure.

I checked the tire again this morning and its at 65.5 lbs. That's a little lower than what I've been keeping it at. The sticker says to keep the tires at 61 lbs. and I've been trying to keep them at 69 lbs.
