Coach battery

If the coach battery is dead, will plugging in to electric recharge?? Does the power switch need to be In the "on" positin?

Yes, plugging it in will recharge the coach battery assuming it is not so discharged that it is damaged. You may want to be sure your water level is correct in the batteries first too

As far as needing to have the switch on, that depends on what model and year of rv you have.

However if you turn it on you should be good either way.

When a battery discharges below 50%, some damage occurs. The extend of which is difficult to determine, so your best bet is to monitor it and see how it performs.
