Day 11 and back from Shake down
Went up to Morro Bay. Windy half way and got 7.9 mpg keeping speed down to 55-60 and Loaded with food and full tank of water. Trip back got 9.2 mpg. Half tank of water and B/G tanks empty. Also kept speed around 60-65.
Had issues with levelers. Found fluid on rear passenger side foot. Used start which is like auto. Never again, will use extend and manually raise to level.
Had water in rear compartment yesterday. Thought it was black water or grey water from shower. Leaking from J trap cover under shower.
Took to dealer this morning. Checked levelers and they are OK. With the J trap shower cover removed, I found out that the City water connection was cracked and leaking when the water pump was on. I found the hose didn't have enough space because of plywood from the shower being in the way. I replaced the fitting that went into the hose and used my Dremel grinder to make enough room for the hose and fitting to have less stress. Can you imagine the mess and damage if I had gone to a CG with full hookups and attached my hose with the regulator on it. The DW kept saying the water pump is running and now I know why!!
