X2 Likewise, everything has its place and it is not on the counter. Not at home. not on the road.

Love it. Use it all the time. Have had several people come over to our campsite to see it. They see me empty waste basket from outside.

I LOVE the trash cutout hole! We use it all the time. I do keep my paper towel holder in the same corner and it all works great.

We do like ours ! To us, much better than a trash can taking up floor space! Just remember to cover that counter top hole ( big or small) when / if your outside at night watching the outside TV. We had a night with friends over, and were doing just that, not realizing ( paying attention) that the night insects were attracted to the TV lighting, and once there, were attracted to the interior lighting of the RV through the hole !

Anyway, a few extra flying visitors inside when we called it a night !

We had one on our Wildcat fifth wheel, but we no longer have that fifth wheel. I really, really miss the "trash hole" and being able to access the bag from outside to empty it. I've been trying to figure a way to put it in our new fifth wheel, but the countertop is in the island and someone would have to crawl under the fifth wheel to empty it. Any takers?

Cut out trash hole

We have a 3011DS and both the wife and really like the trash cut out. It frees up space in the living area and allows easy access for removing the trash.

Wow! Seriously? That trash cut out was a HUGE reason we even bought our coach. I hated having a trash bag hanging from anywhere. I saw a friend's Forester and when I saw that trash cut out, I knew I HAD to have a coach that had that in it!

hole for trash

We had one in our wildcat. Needed more counter space and so that compartment that the trash was located, became a tool storage area. Works great.

Yep I agree, we love ours but utilizing the storage space is a great option if you don't want to use it for it was intended for. I've seen them used for outdoor kitchen supplies, a small refrigerator installed and as I mentioned earlier depending on the floor plan and options an outdoor entertainment center. I'm sure there are many options.

Have it in our 3051 Forester. Use it all the time and live it. Keeps from having to put a trash can somewhere inside as well.

So, now we have a perfectly cool/good system going unused, and a trash bag hanging from the kitchen cabinet knob. I am disappointed, as I thought this was such a cool feature. Just curious how others feel about it and/or using it.
I cut a hole in the outside door, installed a seal-able 3" Port and now use it for an additional extension cord entrance from the duplex receptacle in the Power Pedestal. 1 more appliance I can now use.

We really like using the countertop trash disposal hole.
If we need the counter space while preparing a meal we collect any trash generated in a plastic grocery bag. Afterward we tie it up and drop it down the hole.

Use ours. Love it. Only thing I would change is a small hole in the center to grab rather than the half hole on the side that allows it to fall into the garbage can. There is a reason why manhole covers are round. So they cannot fall into the hole.

Yes we use ours and we LOVE it!

DW would never let me hang a trash bag when this gets the trash out of sight and out of mind.

We have a small square wicker trash basket,,, fits nicely next to the Dinette,,,, never in the way,,, it does get empty offen !!!

Lid to garbage

I rather have the counter space and now the lid has disappeared. Im assuming it fell into the trash and got taken away. How do I get another one?
Any suggestions on how to solve this one?

Love the hole

Love clean counter tops. I don't like leaving anything on the counter tops. The only thing you find on my counter is veggie/fruits that can't go in fridge. I try and bring as little as possible on the road. Everything is put away in cupboards. Looks like no one is living in it. Love that we don't have to have a trash can on the floor or any trash bags hanging from the cupboards. Less clutter for me, the happier the hubby is. Love the hole!
