Dometic AC question

I have a 2016 Forester 2401R with a Dometic/Duo Therm roof air conditioner. It seems to work okay but every once in a while the fan will stop for about 5 seconds then will start again. During this time the compressor continues to run. It will do this a couple times within a 15 second, or so, period then will run fine for several minutes - or may not do it again that day. Has anyone else experienced this and is it something to be concerned about?

My AC will do everything you say. Most of the time it is because the temp has gotten to within about 4 deg of the thermostat setting when the fan speed changes to low as programed. It has not been an issue for us for 3 years of ownership and the AC running for days on end. Some say it may be because of the freeze sensor resetting itself. Anyway, no issues with the AC for us.

Yep, if you listen the fan speed changes between these cycles. Ours will go back and forth a number of times. If it bothers you switch from AU on the fan speed to HI or LO. But then the fan will never shut off. We're not a fan of this "feature".

Thanks for the replies. It's not a change in fan speed. It always runs at the same speed. It's just that it stops for a short period of time then starts again.

Turn the fan to on instead of auto.

The speed change is VERY subtitle. I didn't think it was a speed change either until I lived with it for a while.
