Has anyone had a problem with the Dometic door light. I thought that maybe the light was bad but it ohmed out. Not sure if switch might be bad. Trying to see if there is a fuse in line for that but it doesn't seem so. It's under warranty but I am no where close to any repair facilities. Model 2652, 2016 2801 QS GTS
We have same fridge. Our issue is the light sometime stays lit with the door closed,sometimes not. We found this out because a tub of butter near light was melted. The bulb seems to burn VERY hot very quickly. We have since removed bulb and use small flashlight as needed.
We could not get our fridge to cool down. Finally realized the bulb was very hot, obviously it was staying on. Took the bulb out and fridge started cooling. Dealer had to fix some wiring to fix it. All is well now.

Switched mine to an LED light from Walmart. Works great and no heat. FYI tried an LED from Amazon too. Cheaper but only lasted a few days.
