Question driver swivel seat 3011 won't lock in place

We just picked up our new 3011DS and the driver side swivel seat won't lock in place.
Has anyone had this problem? The passenger seat locks back in place after we swiveled it around.
We are in the process of trying to have it checked out by the dealer close to our home but they don't want to help us since we didn't buy it from them.
We are waiting for a call back from Forest River to see where we can get help

We have a 3011 as well with a swivel passenger seat. The drivers seat has motorized adjustments since both myself and the wife will be driving which means it could not be a swivel chair. We have no issues with the swivel passenger chair but only intend to use it sparingly when we are hosting a lot of people or for tailgating. The other reason for using it sparingly, it does not swivel easily and requires a fair amount of effort to get it right.

After you get the seat facing fwd, sit in it and use your weight to get it to lock inplace, I had to do that to get my to lock back in

3011DS Swivel Seat

I have a new 3011DS, but I don't think my seats swivel, is it standard or an option I might not have?

It was only an option when I bought mine.

We chose the option of both driver and passenger swivel seats when we ordered our 3011 and we love them.

They're getting easier to maneuver every time we turn them around. To lock the driver seat in place we start by getting it turned around to the front then slide it at an angle along the track to lock it into the final spot. Sometimes I have to give a bit of force and get sort of a "running start" to lock it into place.

If you slide them along the track slowly they don't go far enough forward to lock in the proper position and stay locked. I put a bit of momentum into it when I move it back to the final lock position.

The other thing may be that the release pin or handle are sticking in the unlocked position and don't engage when the seat is moved back into place. Other than that I can't think of what would cause it to not lock.
