DVD Problems

When I put a DVD into the dash receiver it does not play on the receiver. I get a warning message that I need to put the parking brake on even though it is on. This doesn't seem normal to me is anyone else experiencing this?

Also, where is the switch box normally located to play to different TV's in the RV. I had heard that not all of the foresters have one and I don't seem to. Does anyone know why they aren't included in all of the foresters? I have all of the TV's except the one in the bedroom, but the wiring is still there....

Without the switch box is there a way to play content on the receiver in the dash on the other TV's? It seems to only work with the TV in the bunk area over the cab.

Thanks!

1. Parking brake only matters if you want to play the movie ON the dash screen. Otherwise it will output to the overhead TV.
2. No switch box on anything now. When you split coax it degrades the signal terribly, so each TV will typically have its own DVD player for best image.
3. All TV's still have the ability to play over the air channels. Independently.

Attached is a wiring schematic to showing coax wiring
Also attached is the quick start guide to show how to get source output on the Jensen (if that's what you have).

Thanks for the response. That clarifies things. I guess the main problem then is that the parking brake is not hooked up to the stereo. It doesn't matter what I do with it the image never appears on the on dash screen. I think that is because a wire was missed in the installation. Can anyone confirm?

If the DVD is playing on the main screen, you push the emergency brake and it does not come on the dash screen, (even after touching the upper left hand corner of the radio screen), then it could be a lose wire.

On the Magnadyne, it is an orange wire that is suppose to go to the emergency brake. If that wire is connected to ground, the DVD will play on the radio display no matter if the emergency brake is on or not. Don't ask how I know that.
