F450 Ford Dash Upgrade Kit
I wanted to dress up my plain commercial looking dash. My neighbor has a Winebago Class "C" and his dash has artificial wood trim. So, I finally determined how this was done by Winebago at their factory.
My kit was purchased from CarID.com. It had great reviews so I decided to give it a try. The installation was easy and fast.

I was concerned it would look tacky and like an add on. But, it really looks much better then my quickly taken photos. Looking forward from inside the RV living area even looks better.

I am looking at the CarID website - did you buy the real wood? and how did you decide what pattern/color to get?
They have so many cool options!
Could you please describe the install? That stuff sticks on to the existing material?
I assume that you covered a lot of plastic.

My Kit was Synthetic not real wood. I wanted something that closely matched the dark cherry cabinets in the RV. My choice as (SDMW) Dark Mahogany Wood.
You first need to remove all the pieces from the cardboard sheets. Then clean the dash with the wipes provided. Next dry fit pieces before removing the 3M backing tape to expose the adhesive. You can pull off a piece if you just lightly touch it to the dash. Once you push down fully, removing would not be possible. I purchased the 25 piece kit but they have smaller kits if you only want to do the center console area.
There are also molded kits.

We offer a woodgrain dash option on all of our units. We don't cover quite as much...but we send out the dash parts to be coated (as opposed to adhesive). I have seen the Winnie & Jayco stick on kits start to peel off in the heat. I'm guessing installation might be the cause of it.

Looks great. It's on the list. Question, where did you get the floor Mats?

I have not found a good source for carpeted floor mats. So, I cut some from my new bedroom carpet scraps. But, I did order some Ford rubber mats. They did not work well on the plain rubber flooring. My neighbor has a Winebago Aspect that is fully carpeted and he needed them more then me.
