First BoondockingTrip

Curious to see how long we could boondock in our Forester without power & water. Made it 6 full days. Did cheat a bit using nearby rest room. FW tank was empty & black & grey were full to the brim. Also ran the generate a few times for coffee pot and microwave.

Had 4 big kids and two half pint grandkids. DW was worried about not having electric but she agreed it worked great. All the lakefront sites at Kelly's Island State Park don't have electric.

Thanks for sharing. We bought a 2005 Forester last November and will take it out at the end of June for two weeks. Visiting my wife's sister and husband in Georgia. I can't wait to go boon docking at some national parks in the next few years.
