Forest River Dealer can't even supply a Clearance Light Lens

One of the Front Cap Clearance Light lens on my Forester 3051S has gone missing. I quickly found that it's a unique oval shape and nobody stocks it. So, I went to a Forest River Dealer here in Tucson and they parts guy said, "Nah, we don't stock anything like that." He couldn't even give me a part number for the item.

It's such a little thing - where do I turn to next for this oval amber Clearance Light cover?

Should be a name of the manufacture on one of the lenses. Just get the name and google it. You will find it on line I am sure. Bargman made the ones on my Georgetown and I broke one the day I brought it home. None of the local stores had it so I went in line and found it easy. The next day I walked into Camping World and they had them on sale and I bought a couple more for spares.

I took one off but can't find any name or number on the lens.

This photo isn't from my RV, but here's the lens covers I'm talking about- looks common, but the oval shape is unusual:

I've seen these on utility trailers like for hauling lawn mowers, etc. Might be worth a try looking at a dealer to see if they fit.

Sounds like these are hard to find identical replacements. See this thread.

Look forward to seeing if you find them. Not missing any but did have one fall off while washing my camper at home.

Thanks for the help all. I've found it is a Winnebago part as "Kevin & Judy" said and there is a dealer close by. So, perhaps Winnebago can be more help than Forest River.

For those looking for info on this part here is the complete detail:

Glo-Brite 122y Replacement Lens Amber Winnebago 147680-02-01A

My Forester is a 2015 and from all I can tell Glo-Brite went out of business a couple of years before that. So, FR was mounting this part on RVs even though replacements are not available up until the 2016 model year.

The 2016's seem to have a small round LED without a lens in place of these clearance lights. At least the one I saw did.

And when I find this thing I'm putting silicone on all those lens so they won't pop off in the future.

Any local HD truck and trailer shop that sells parts should be able to help you.

What do you mean you can't find it?

This is such a common issue and dose not matter what type of rv or how much you spend (until you get to to the Prevost class) these types of lamps are purchased by some bean counter and they are purchased in "lots" and the change all the time because of how they buy them. You need to take one of the remaining lamp cover off and look hard for a mane and number, and then look online and you will find them.

Hope this helps and Happy camping

I've seen this in trailers for years.

Only solution I have ever found, is to replace them all with a common part from someone like grote.

How about a picture of this mysterious lens. They wouldn't put a one of a kind on one RV.

Oval shaped clearance lens

If your still looking for that oval shaped clearance lens, try this company: Grote Industries, Phone: 1-800-628-0809, not sure if you can buy direct, but they should be able to tell you a location of a dealer that carries their product. Their oval shaped lens is called M1 Series Clearance /Marker Lamp. Hope this helps.
