Forester 2851 water heater temp

already checked with the dealer. the water heater heats up to 140* then shuts off. Is it just me, but that is too hot. there is no way to adjust the temp ?

Nope, they are all preset to 140 degrees. Mine is under the kitchen sink. We have instant hot water there. Spoils us when we get home to the house in Florida and have to waite for hot water to gome from the garage. Again at 140 degreese but I can set that temp.

Depends on the water heater. I have an Atwood and there is an adjustable thermostat available for it. Itís an easy install and allowed me to lower the temp. I donít think there is one available for the suburban.
