I'm betting the cost of the composite toilet with the plastic seat is less than the porcelain with wood seat too

This is the first rv I've ever had with porcelain toilet and real seat. I would never go back. . It would be my first mod if it came with composite. I would bring less food to save the weight lol.

It just blows my mind that you can order something with all the features you want and the company can just give you what they want to give you instead of what you ordered and paid for......crazy.....Had I known that I would not have ordered it. I am now wondering what else they changed that I have no control over...

In my case, I am buying one off the lot because it had everything that we wanted anyway, but, when I saw the "plastic" toilet, I told the salesman it was supposed to be porcelain and that's what I wanted and he agreed it was supposed to be and obviously wasn't aware that Forest River had started using plastic. So its in my sales agreement that it will be switched out. And it will be or there will be no sale. I'm a stickler for details and won't just accept anything. I'm not overly particular, but I want what I paid for and what they (the dealership I bought from) agreed to provide.

I agree with you. I ordered exactly what I wanted. The brochure and website both stated porcelain toilet. I put a 10% deposit down. Now I find out that they can basically make changes that I have no control over and they say that basically there is nothing that I can do about that. Somehow, that does not seem fair. It would seem to me that they should honor their sales brochures. Or give me my money back so that I could get what I truly wanted.

Thanks for the heads up Gandb26. I am waiting on delivery of a new 3051 also. I contacted my sales rep and he was unaware of the toilet change by FR. He contacted FR and they agreed to install the porcelain toilet in mine before it ships. Thanks again!!
