First Modification...a must!

Our first modification that we did after getting our new 3051S, since we are avid winos was to figure out where we could put a wine rack, so I converted one of the drawers under the dinette to serve this mandatory function. My wine rack holds 5 bottles, which usually gets us through a week-long trip. It works pretty well and was easy to make.

T&S,

Did you tint the RV windows for aesthetics, privacy or reduced heat load? or maybe all three? I am considering doing the same when we move South in the near future to help reduce the heat load since we will be generally camping in a warmer climate. Additionally, I will doing our Subaru that we tow since that gets hotter than heck inside so I may just do the RV at the same time to get better pricing.

Privacy, aesthetics, reduced heat -- in that order.

Wanna65stang I would love to see pictures of how you installed handles to aid in opening the windows. I couldn't open them and my husband said they looked like they would break easily.

We tinted the window in our old one and will this one as soon as possible for all the same reasons. We bought our old one used and the furniture had faded bad before we tinted, want this one to last a long time.

Makes sense. Did you notice any reduction in heat buildup after the tinting?

Step lights? Anyone add step courtesy lights at the step up or did yours come with these?

I love this wine rack idea! We live in wine country on California Central Coast. I would love instructions for this. What woodworking tools do you need?

We went to Lowes and picked up a battery operated, magnetic motion detector LED light that attaches to the step well.

Maybe some; however, the privacy and aesthetics were greatly improved.

Wifi Booster

Not quite a mod, but I saw this tip on a FB Group about using a wifi booster. Anyone use something like this? If so, how do you like it?
