Forester Comparison Grid

This was as accurate as possible up to late 2011 early 2012. Some items may have changed for other mfg's, but at least I know the Forester data is current.

Thanks! And for me, perfect timing. We sold our Newmar Ventana DP a few months ago, and we are in the process of shopping for a C. We have narrowed our choices down to Forester, Greyhawk, (dealers for both in our area) and possibly the Phoenix Cruiser. Right now we are leaning toward the Forester 3121 over the Greyhawk, and your grid is helping to solidify our choice. We plan to go to the Louisville Rally in a couple of weeks and walk through every unit we can see to make sure we find the best floorplan for us ... and the best price for our budget.

I have been reading things here for a few weeks and I appreciate the positive interaction between those who post.

Again, thanks.

I see the Forester has keyless entry. Our 2013 3011DS does not have it? Ford chassis, was it to have the keyless entry?

Define keyless entry???? Do you mean a "keypad on the door"? Keyless entry just means the keys come with a "Key Fob" for the driver/passenger door. It is not keyless entry on the coach door.

It would be a key fob just like you get with a car.

If one wants the keypad, Ford sells stick-on keypads that one can use. You will have to add it to the computer the same way you do any other Ford car remote, but it allows you to have a way into the vehicle should you lose all keys. As an added bonus, it doesn't have to be directly on the door. If it is in radio range of the transmitter, it can be on the back or placed somewhere out of sight, but still in an accessible place.
