Forester Factory Tour

Hello fellow Forester owners!

We have really enjoyed of 2012 Forester 3121ds (and sorry to see that model missing from the 2014/2015 lineup). Anyhow, we'd love the opportunity to visit/take a factory tour of the plant where our beloved motorhome was built. Has anybody done that or know how to go about arranging for a tour? We'd love to see the process first-hand and maybe even get a little "tune up/tightening down" of some components while we are there.

Have a GREAT 2014 RVing season-thank you in advance!

I took the tour in 2012. Just call the factory. They are made by Glaval Bus
contact: Glaval Bus
914 County Road 1
Elkhart, IN 46514
Toll Free: 800-445-2825

Nice tour but you may or may not see a Forester on the line. They make Sunseekers in the same line and since they make much fewer Foresters, there may not be one in the line. I think there was one the day I was there.

Well, that info is correct and not correct.
1. We are not built by Glaval. We wanted this building and the conversion van market was no more. But the only way to get the building was to buy the bus line too, so Forester River bought it all. Glaval Bus is just another division of Forest River. We just happen to build in the same building, but we have nothing to do with each other beyond that. They have their own purchasing, management and sales.

2. We have expanded our Forester dealer base. There is rarely a day when both are not on the line. I would say Forester is now 30-35% of our business and growing.

The address is correct, however. Plant tours take place at 1pm everyday. Just call ahead and let them know you are coming or the engineer that handles that will head home.

We just call it Plant 34. It might says Glaval/Sunseeker now.

Yeah I was aware Glaval bus was part of FR. Should have said Foresters and Sunseekers are made in the Glaval Bus building.

And I probably should not have said "it might says". If I didn't have to worry about grammar enough...now my poor typing comes into play.
