Aside from the leak, there were other things wrong with it including what is being investigated as fraud on the part of the dealer. We will see what happens. Keeping my fingers crossed I get another rig or my money back.

PS I called Joshua and left a message. I'm a very fair and honest person. Let's hope they all do the right thing here.

I received the message. Unfortunately since legal actions are being taken everything from here on out has to be done through our Service/Warranty manager, Dan Evans.

Thanks Joshua. Does Dan have a number? I've spoken to Russ Stull once but he hasn't returned my last call so I'm not holding my breath that FR is really going to stand behind their product they way is should.

No leaks on mine at all. However, as I've owned motorhomes before I went up on the roof as soon as I got mine home and checked all the seams and sealant closely. I saw a couple spots where I thought the sealant was a bit thin so I added more. I've been through torrential downpours without a single leak.

Auntielo1...since I've been through this...I suggest you keep all communication through e-mail / texting / snail mail. Everything needs to be documented and not he said / she said. I would give a quality repair shop / body shop recommended by FR a chance to pull off cap (or whatever) repair that is justified to try and fix the issue. Legal action is the last thing you want to do. Give Josh and FR a chance to fix unit. I would also inspect the coach while being repaired to give you piece of mind that the repairs are done to fix the leak problem and make sure (guarantee) there will be no mold issues in the future.
Just my 3 cents
Jim

Hi Jim, thank you. The dealer who is repairing it is 2 and a half hours away so being there for the repair is close to impossible. I am documenting. What was the outcome of your situation ? Josh can't help me and I've exhausted all other avenues. Please keep in mind that I've spoken with FR from the start. Though they have offered to patch the roof there was no commitment to any ongoing issues as a result of the leak.

This is my fifth RV. My 1984 didn't have leaks! As I posted previously , I've been drooling of the Solera MBS for a couple of years so when I was ready I bought one (now the Forester )

They can open up the area where water is getting in and where the water is doing damage. You can then go there to view how and why - Then they can explain what repairs are to be done (hopefully to your standards) - replacing and coating the wood to eliminate future mold. My repair shop is DeMartinis and is also 2.5 hours away...but well worth the drive to verify what repairs are being done.
I won my case after a year and a half of being tenaucious. I got a real nice coach twice the price of my "Lemoned" coach...but it ended up being just too big for my wife to drive so we ended up selling that coach to my neighbor and bought the 3011. My body kept cracking by a side window and the windshield moved so much while driving it actually let air in and whistled. It definitely had a few welds / supports missing in the chassis. They had 4 attempts to fix before I brought out the big guns.
