Fresh water tank/control panel

We have 2008 Forester 2651S, getting ready for a trip, fresh water has no lights on the control panel. All other functions work. Don't know how to check the push button switch, I hear it clicks when pushed. I have been trying to find the tank, thinking it is in the bed cavity with no access. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Mike

Probably too late for for trip.... I have 2013 sunseeker 2650 and there is lift up lid under the mattress. Yours is a different year and a higher end model but I suspect that the bones of the RV are similar. In fact my electrical panel, water pump and fresh water tank are all under the mattress. Most of the time I flip up the lid under the mattress to check water level.

My water tank is also under the bed. I put a door hatch on the bed frame and a light on the water tank so anytime I want check the water level, I open the hatch, turn on the light and I can easily see where the water level is.

Thanks

Thanks so much. Our Forester has the flip lid and exposes just the water filter and pump. Beyond the first 18 inches is bare. The rest is carpeted. So here comes another project! Mike

My sunseeker 2650 has the water tank, filter ,pump and electrics under the bed. I removed the screws holding down the plywood access deck and reattached it with a full length piano hinge. Allows for easy access to systems and holds the mattress out of the way while in the bay
