Fridge operation

New to this so probably a dumb question. Will the fridge run on electric when driving down the road without killing the batteries or do we need to run with the propane on? Thanks.

X2 Propane

Unless you run the fridge on generator power, while driving.
Or you install a whole house inverter, to power the outlets on battery power.

It depends on the refrigerator installed in your unit. Some of the 2020 Foresters / Sunseekers now come with a 12VDC only refrigerator / freezer. That is what will be installed in the 2400Q we have on order.

If you have an option to use propane that is usually the most efficient.

Thank you everyone. It’s a 2020 Forester 3271s. I think propane is the answer.
