Nice mod and thanks for the post.

What is it with these fridges? Some are too cold, some never cool down and some plain don't work. Of course, there's always a Bakken in the mix whose fridge works perfectly.

Ours works, it just takes a long, long time to get anywhere near cool, like a day and a half. I need to pick up a fridge thermometer and a fridge fan. As it is, I have to power up the RV two days before we go anyplace so that the fridge is cool enough to transport food at the start of the trip.

I guess it's one of those mods you really don't need or half to do. But, I just said what the heck, worst thing that can happen is I have to replace the thermistor since you're cutting the old one off. My wife's been monitoring the temps since I left for offshore, and so far all is working great. I've had those "perfect" fridges before, just not in this MH.

Looks like ETF and I received the warm running models. My husband doesn't understand why I bring our MH 4 days before we leave for a trip. I keep explaining it's because of the fridge. I miss my Norcold in my old MH. I loved how it made the drinks on the top shelf slushy!
