Fridge won't work on road

Works great when plugged in. Won't work on the road or on dc. Have lights on in fridge all the time. Have cabin lights work on dc on the road and when not plugged in. Figure it's a gas problem. Anyone had this? Have any fixes?

The way it is Posted makes Members think its a (Down the Road) Issue? Your unit has a (Propane or DC) issue! There were Some (Blowing Out) going down the road issues that were (Fac.Recall) to install a Baffle but this is Not your Issue. Youroo!!

Start simple, is the buttons above the fridge turned to on and auto? Check to make sure all propane knobs are turned appropriately and show green. Next, Check to see if the pilot is igniting. Turn it off, wait a couple of minutes and have someone turn the fridge on while you stand by the pilot listening for the clicks and see if it ignites. Is it possible there is air in the line that needs to be purged? Check to see if there are any valves to cut flow off to fridge (my Sabre has this). Do you have propane to your stove?

I second a2 stove comment. The fridge uses a less gas than the fridge. Need to blead the line.

Refer requires 12VDC no matter what. After that you need either 120VAC or propane to cool.

I have DC. It must be a lighting issue (DC issue local to the fridge) or a lack of propane to the fridge. My stove and water heater work fine. Fuses are fine in the fridge. Is there a process to bleed just the propane line to the fridge? It would be nice if I could test for spark and fuel at the fridge before I take it to a shop (good luck finding anyone to help this time of year). It is a "down the road" issue. The fridge won't work while travelling nor will it work when stopped. Only works when plugged in.

Since you are steadfast that it is a (Down the Road problem) and ONLY works when plugged in your choices are (1) Run your Generator or (2) Buy a REAL LONG power cable! Like I posted before (Propane or DC Issue) which also means the (Control Board)! Youroo!!

Check your propane detector. If your propane detector is not turned on, your stove, furnace and fridge will not work. It's happened to me twice now. Easy to overlook since I turn mine off when stored. Mine looks like this.

Gas to fridge

I turn on gas at tanks then purge lines by lighting a stove burner. May take a while. Then turn off stove and turn on fridge. You will here gas valve open and ignition start. If it does not light within a short time the fridge will turn off. You have to turn fridge off then on to try again. Mine takes 3 attempts then runs fine.

You can also look in the access panel from the outside of the fridge (I do this on my EVO for the fridge and Water heater). I do not know if it is the same on your rig, mines a TT.

Sounds like your fridge will not lite and that your electronic pilot is not working. This is a problem for some people when driving but if it is doing it when parked that's my bet. put tt on shore power and put fridge on auto. Then have your wife disconnect the shore power. You should here the fridge pilot clicking trying to lite the flame. No click no pilot.

Forgot if the fridge detects no pilot then it will shut off propane to unit. Pilot will be located in the lower access door outside.

And just how does a fridge uses less gas than a fridge? Like a Canadian breathes less air than a Canadian?

Are the buttons on the frig turned to AUTO? You might have a gas block. Does your stove and hot water heater work?

Fridge won't work on road

If the refrigerator is in you pop out, the propane hose to the refrigerator, under the slide is being pinched off when the slide is in. Know this as it happened to me and I find this is very common.
