Front window cover

Instead of the interior privacy curtain, I would like to cover the front window, giving access to the cockpit. Sunseeker 2016, 2650. Any recommendation w easy installation?

A relatively in expensive way is a sun shield to cover the inside of the windshield and Reflectix insulation cut to fit in the groove inside the side windows. Works quite well on my class C. Camping World has covers that go on the outside of the windshield and side windows.

Expensive, but works well. Especially in the sun. I think it is well worth it.

I can't remember where or who posted this but I bought boards at WalMart and traced the curves with a coffee can lid. Just make sure not to cut them too small or they will not stay in place. Really helps keeping the heat and light out. Cheapest mod yet.

I think you want a cover that is one piece and covers the side windows and windshield. Each end has a lip that fits in top corner of each door with a magnet in each lower corner. These work great. They keep the sun from heating up the cab area and retain the inside air temp. They are available from Camping World, Amazon and other RV venders. This cover is outside the cab and not inside like sunshields witch still allow intrusion of heat in.

ADCO makes the cover you want. They make them for all model chassis.

how do this attach to the inside and do these block out any view of the inside of the RV from passers by?
Thanks

Just fits front windshield - put either white or reflective side facing out. Sunshades secure it in place. Side windows held in place by suction cups. Takes about a minute to place them. DW is very shy so yes it blocks all view of the interior. As well as providing insulation from sun and cold , all 3 pieces roll up into one neat little package and fit into one of our interior cabinets.

You want the ADCO windshield cover. It blocks the heat and cold better, plus there is nothing to attach on the inside. Also much more private.

Its really a matter of personal preference. You cant go wrong with either screen. I had been told that the outside cover was a PIA to attach, clean, and that they weathered. Since I have never owned one I cant comment on that from experience. The inside screen we use is very private and insulates very well. They both cost approximately the same, again you cant go wrong with either one you chose

Really not that hard to use or clean. Unfold, spread across windshield then open either door a couple inches, slip the tab over top corner of door and shut the door. Slide the wipers out from under the cover. Done. More than a couple minutes, your talking to the neighbors and not putting cover on.
