Full Wall Slide

We learned something today. We had our first Lippert/Schwintek slideout issue over the weekend. We tried to extend the slide and got maybe 3" before the motor shut down, but retracted with no problem. Tried twice more to no avail. Long story short, we found out there had either been rain or condensation that had frozen preventing the slide from extending. We were told too many try to run the slide back and forth to where it burns out the motor(s) when they have a problem. If you have an issue like this, warm it before going to the dealer! BTW we keep it garaged, but had it out overnight in the driveway, which probably caused the problem.
