Furnace and ceiling unit confusion

We are currently in Gatlinburg camping and with night temps rather chilly we of course are using the furnace. However when I turn it on the ceiling A/C unit comes on too as if I am using the heat pump function which I am not! It blows very cool air. Not as cold as outside temps but very cool. And it stays on!

Help????!!!!

Adjust the thermostat from hi or low to auto. See if that helps

In my unit when the furnace is on the overhead fan turns on to recirculate the air. You should be getting warm air from the floor vents and the overhead vents should start to get warm once the cabin starts heating up. Unless I am mistaken too then I'm eager to hear the answer.

Sounds like your fan control (thermostat) setting is wrong.

Is it a digital model?

Herk7769- yes it is digital. I can't imagine the ceiling unit staying on all the time even when the furnace reaches temp and cycles off??

Dug in a little more....from what I am reading there is three settings on the fan hi lo and auto as mentioned above. Go to fan and switch it to auto.
