We just purchased a 3051S Forester and are looking forward to hitting the road. In preparation of our new journey we also got a C-Max Hybrid as our toad.

Our 3051s is a month old and we really like it. Have not been without problems but we are on our third trip, this one lasting about a month. Let us all know how your adventures pan out.

Thanks for the welcome. We are making a trip to Niagara Falls next week can't wait. The only issue we have with ours is that there is no power to the outside DVD player. I'll post our adventure in a few weeks!

mine didn't work either. the dealer popped it out, said a wire was loose. Next time i checked it, not working again. i took it to Car Toys (because they were close), they said the connections were not very professionally done, but got it working again. Last time i checked it was still working, but Car Toys said it all the connections should be redone. I've got it on my warranty list.

Hi, we picked up our 3051S at the end of June. We went on three short trips to shake everything out an now we are half way into a 3000 mile month-long trip. So far no major issues.

We looked long and hard at the CMax Energi for a toad but in the end decided to save some money and buy something used and cheaper plus get something light and very easy to tow. We ended up with a 2-year old Fiat 500 and it's been a great toad so far.
