Happiness is a washed and waxed Forester

Since no one around here appreciates it much, I thought I would post here where I know folks appreciate the hard work it is.

Too bad it's a bit blurry.

Looks good, but I believe your thread is mis-titled. It should be "Tired is the man that washed and waxed the RV."

Wanna do mine next? I washed our new fiver and that wasn't too bad. Had every intention of waxing it too....... But made it thru the front cap and had to bail. What a pain in da arse. Ran out of time and steam before leaving on our trip. But yours looks nice and pretty!

When I went to the dealer to look for my MH the sales girl greeted me and ask, "Sir do you know what your want?" my answer was "yes I do, but that's not what I need." meaning I would love to have a big Class A bus with a pusher.. but I'm happy happy happy when this job comes along,, I always tell the wife I would not want one a foot longer when it comes to washing it.. and spray wax is as good as it gets..

That is a lot of work but looks very very nice sir..

Thanks all...I literally have to keep telling myself how much it cost to get through the last few feet when my shoulders are on fire and my knees are full from up and down the ladder - and I'm only 43!!!

We're about to head back from a month on Galveston Island (Jamaica Beach) and the salt spray that is covering EVERYTHING is *CRAZY*!

Needless to say, when we get back, I'm going to have to wash (with Salt Away) , remove any rust, seal/paint rusted areas and wax:
  • The truck
  • The car
  • two bikes
  • 40' fifth wheel

I am *NOT* looking forward to this...

I agree it's nice to have people appreciate a clean waxed motorhome even if it does take all weekend to do it.
